My interest in art began in the early '70's when visiting the Louvre museum and was awed by the works of Renoir and the old Masters. Although a deep and lasting impression was made, It would be many years before I picked up a brush for the first time. Now, creating and expressing myself through painting has been an amazing journey full of self discovery and joy. I choose to paint a broad variety of subjects and my style is somewhere between representational, and impressionistic. Oils are my medium of choice, but I also enjoy colored pencils, graphite, and digital creations. Of most importance is sharing my view of the world through art with the hopes that the viewer may be inspired within themselves.
